A stone among stones
silently on the beach.
It lies with the rest
under the sun.
At first glance
it looks worthless,
not much to see
others more striking.
But take a look
at the beauty within,
intricate layers
of inner beauty.
Veiled by its
crude exterior
it lays silently
all alone.
