In a joking sort of way? No, I've never intentionally annoyed anyone for any reason (not in my nature), but apparently, some people get annoyed, anyway. LOL
Has a friend ever suggested a musical artist to you, that you came to enjoy? Yes, I've discovered a few great artists (the names escape me at the moment) through my BOTB buddies
What was your favourite bread spread as a child? My mother was German, so my childhood was a bit different. Liverwurst (on pumpernickel) was a favourite, still is, along with cheeses like Gouda, Butterkäse and Emmental, on rye. Have a great week!
Debbie D. https://www.blogger.com/profile/13153118405565035071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4688586956638235216.post-27689650396302700442016-11-20T08:43:37.518-06:002016-11-20T08:43:37.518-06:00Your battle caught me off guard as I expected a di...Your battle caught me off guard as I expected a different song. Well, w...I thought I felt my ears burning. =) lol.
Well, well, look who finally decided to listen to my favorite singer? It only took a few YEARS! haha. jk. For the record, Morrissey's version of most cover songs aren't as good as his original songs, so I was ready to be unbiased despite being a fan. But alas, I'm voting for the Moz.
The other version by Michael Anthony Austin wasn't too bad, actually, because I didn't mind the high vocals. (Morrissey's vocals can be just as high and even include some yodeling on occasion...so that didn't bother me too much. lol) However, Michael's version had too much of a melodic, peaceful vibe to it, which didn't capture the lyrics in the same ambivalent way that Morrissey sang it. Morrissey's vocals provided that haunting uneasiness to the lyrics which gave the song the proper vibe and context all around.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13747238059659591579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4688586956638235216.post-66632445641191471012016-11-18T11:40:56.218-06:002016-11-18T11:40:56.218-06:00I'm positive my friend will take the entire po...I'm positive my friend will take the entire post in stride.
