I'm seriously trying to get better and set some time each week aside for myself and my writing. Why is it so hard, to do something you love so much? I'm thinking I read somewhere that you write YA, maybe I'm confused. That happens often. I' have a finished novel that I'm looking for some beta readers/CP partners for; are you interested in making a trade. I'll read something of yours and you read something of mine. I do find that critiquing someone else's work really helps me see flaws in my own. Well anyway, let me know. You can find my email address easily enough at my blog profile. If not leave me a message and I'll get it to you. Hope we can work something out.farawayeyeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17578277501054242356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4688586956638235216.post-64523404913351753362016-11-07T10:33:39.769-06:002016-11-07T10:33:39.769-06:00The problem is, after a bad day, we feel awful. I love to walk but here in the deep south, it gets too hot during the summer to walk except early in the morning (not going to get up that early) and late at night (rather be at the beach). Once it gets cooler, that's when I start walking again!

In answer to your question to ponder: my characters ALWAYS deviate from my plan. I have summaries. I have outlines! They don't care! They go along for a while like good boys and girls and then off they run down a rabbit trail. But here's the catch: the story THEY want to tell is ALWAYS better than the one I want to tell. I've learned to trust my characters and they never, ever disappoint.

Good luck with your goals!
JenJenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06683486631901017529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4688586956638235216.post-69572583414904561182016-11-04T11:17:01.581-05:002016-11-04T11:17:01.581-05:00I wish I could run one, but being overweight, I...I wish I could run one, but being overweight, I'm limited to walking one for now.
